Baked cod casserole
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a small pot
- Add flour on a low heat and fry the thick mixture for 1-2 minutes
- Add the milk (and cream if desired) bit by bit, adding new milk only when the sauce is smooth again
- Season with dill, salt and pepper
- Take the pot of the heat and stir in the egg
- Fry the onions in some vegetable oil
- Add the mushrooms once the onions become translucent and fry for 4-5 minutes
- Season with salt and pepper
- Lay the pieces of cod on the bottom of the casserole and spread the shrimps evenly on top of them
- Cover with the sauce
- Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, until the sauce has set
