Instructions

    For the sauce

  1. Melt the butter in a small pot
  2. Add flour on a low heat and fry the thick mixture for 1-2 minutes
  3. Add the milk (and cream if desired) bit by bit, adding new milk only when the sauce is smooth again
  4. Season with dill, salt and pepper
  5. Take the pot of the heat and stir in the egg
  6. For the casserole

  7. Fry the onions in some vegetable oil
  8. Add the mushrooms once the onions become translucent and fry for 4-5 minutes
  9. Season with salt and pepper
  10. Lay the pieces of cod on the bottom of the casserole and spread the shrimps evenly on top of them
  11. Cover with the sauce
  12. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, until the sauce has set
